Arjun Sugars Mill Land Grab and Corruption Scandal!
A major controversy has erupted in Jalna, Maharashtra, over the acquisition of land belonging to Arjun Sugars Mill for a highway project. The Enforcement Directorate has seized the mill's assets and filed a case against former minister Arjun Khotkar. Farmers and local residents have raised serious concerns about the measurement of the acquired land and the alleged illegal sale of mill machinery.
A delegation met with the District Collector demanding a transparent investigation into the matter and seeking answers regarding the compensation for the acquired land. They have also demanded that the remaining land be used for the benefit of the local community.
